Socrates was born in Davao, Philippines in 1983. During his high school days, Socrates was a traditional painter, joining and winning in several local contests and school poster making contests. He taught at painting classes for children during those times. After graduating college he then moved to Metro Manila to pursue his career.

Soc worked for six years in an animation studio as a background artist. He is now a CG Artist in a gaming company and also a freelancer doing Comic and Pin-up Coloring, 3D modelling and Texturing, Mural painting and Graphic design.

His primary tools are Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, Maya and 3Ds Max.
