AC_OSORIO (Alberto Cortes) is an Illustrator, Graphic & Web Designer born and raised in Puerto Rico. In 1997 during his studies in Marine Biology, AC worked as a Scientific Illustrator for 2 Field Guide Books inside the Marine Biology Department and Wildlife Management program. His B.A. in Marine Biology was received from Puerto Rico University in Humacao in 1999-2000.
Two years later AC worked as a Graphic & Web Designer for Softek, Inc. a company dedicated to the creation of Computer Software and Advance Communications. With a successful run in visual training courses, AC was offered Project Management for a variety of new Top Company Products.
In 2002/03 AC launches BASICO Design, an independent design firm for Small to Medium Size Companies (PYMES) and offers his experience in the local market as Creative Director. Establishing a strong understanding of Company ID, BASICO’s work achieve market exposition gaining to export service and product over seas to UK, US & Latin America.
As an Illustrator AC was very active in promoting and exposing his work through the Internet which led in 2006 a short story from Razor Blade Apple Comics (RBA COMICS) to be published under the title of RBA PRESENTS #4. Later, inside the studio, AC was offered a Sub Contract to work as a Colorist for Scare Tactix Graphix title KYU-SHIN. After a year of successfully meeting every deadline thrown, AC not only manages to win penciling chores inside RBA’s top Title GUNBREED, but earn Active Partnership inside RBA Studios.

The continued work recognition landed in 2008 the opportunity to work with well know UK writer Richard James Johnson (The Enemy’s Son), The short story, HERO IN HELL, was featured and published through Murky Depths Issue #8 in 2008/09.

His recent participations include the New York Comic Con in 2010 and Puerto Rico Comic Con 2009-2012.
